I’m experienced with architectural and interior design, and have spent the last eight years working in the film industry. As a Production Designer and Art Director, I managed creative and construction teams to develop the visual design and builds for hundreds of sets. The first step is walking into a space - whether an empty sound stage, or an existing location - and picturing the possibilities. The second is strategizing how to build it out and adapt existing elements to make it fit a specific visual style, while on a strict budget and timeline. The third is all about adornment - research, mood boarding, and selecting materials, color palettes, art, graphics, lighting, and furniture. The end result is a curated overall vision through combined elements that compliment and contrast one another, creating intrigue at every turn.
